Since its founding, Universidad Americana (UAM) has prided itself as being committed to generating employment for Nicaragua and not just teaching students to search for it.
This spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship has become one of its hallmarks, and will be on display during the 19th Annual Entrepreneurship Fair to be held at UAM this Saturday, June 14.
There will be more than 70 projects displayed which were created by more than 200 students from different disciplines, as part of their mandatory graduation requirements. These projects will soon be added to the 1,198 projects that have been designed since 1997, many of which have become successful businesses in Nicaragua.
In addition to displaying their projects, the teams will be competing in the categories of best display, best overall project, highest level of customer service quality and highest level of innovation.
If you would like to experience what soon-to-be university graduates have been creating, stop by this free event, wander through the exhibitions and talk to the participants who all speak English (another graduation requirement).
